I Sit And Ponder

I sit and ponder how life would be

If you were still here with us, with me
I know my life would be much brighter
And my heart would seem a lot lighter

I rack my brains at all the memories
And how different life would seem
If you where still here today
To take my sorrows and fears away

I’ve lost you, to me, my Dad
Back then you were my everything you were all I had
Now I have a beautiful girl
And now she and her Daddy are my world

But still I am empty and my heart aches
For you were always there when I was about to break
I will always love you until the day I die
For now I must be strong at least I must try.
